Day Six - Nutre Hogar

Today was another wonderful day working with the children at Nutre Hogar.  By now, most students have become particularly attached to a certain child; and oftentimes, the child will refer to our students as "mama" and "papa" and will welcome us with open arms as we enter the playroom.

Theresa and Maralis play together.

Greg helps with the morning snack!
Clare works with the nineras to get the kids ready for bed!

"Going home after working is so rewarding.  I love being with the babies.  I'm already so attached to little Abraham!  I never want to leave when I'm done!" - Clare

"Helping out the children at Nutre Hogar is a wonderful experience.  Putting smiles on the children's faces is so heartwarming.  Also, my host family is very welcoming, making me feel a part of the family, making the experience even better." - Theresa S.
